Nothing in comun with Teodor Greceanu.
Stefan Greceanu was born in a nobil Romanian family ,with an genealogical tree that gets far to Mihai the Brave. His family had a "mosie "in Albesti, near Ploiesti. He was a great sportsman,a very good pilot and a friend.-Those words were said by Ioan Dicesare. "A very good character,we fought toghether at Odessa" "He had a very big nose..." After the war ,when king Mihai was forced to abdict,Stefan Greceanu ,who was a good friend of the king, together with his wife (26 years yunger) left in the same train with the king to Switzerland. There He run out of money and was helped by a Scotish arisocrat to survived. His wife who was very beautiful, was given a job as a model at Dior. Stefan Greceanu refused. It was shameful for a Boier's wife to work... They emigrated to Canada, where in Ontario he founded a ranch. He died in his early 50's in a tractor accident. |

Sorry for the mistake. It's NADIA.
Next day after the picture with Stefan Greceanu was taken, “Nadia II” was destroyed completely at Salz airfield after a Sturmovik attack(September 1941)
Photo source is "Aeronautica Romana in al doilea razboi mondial" (Romanian Aeronautics in ww2) book of Modelism. MGC |

Stefan Greceanu was among the first five pilots awarded the Virtutea Aeronautica Order with swords Knight class during WWII. During the 1941 campaign he made 78 missions and claimed five kills.

The issue of 20 July 1943 of Aripi româneşti published his photo with the legend "Adj. av. Greceanu N.". Any idea why "N" instead of "Ş"?
