Hello!

You are talking of the neck award resembling the Michael the Brave Order, but enameled in red, with the Archangel Michael on the obverse, and the 4 x M cipher (Michael's cipher)? I still have a picture of it... I talked with a person who said that it was maybe Spanish! But it was looking very much like a Romanian award (maybe religious?), and with nearly an identical ribbon as the Michael the Brave Order...

Are you talking of the second medal, from right (see scan)?

No, that's the Order of Queen Maria, in knight's class... I was talking of a red enameled order, very similar in form to the Michael the Brave one.

Never saw it before in my life. It resembles the MV Order a little. It is also strange that instead of Mihai's monogram it had the Mihai I cross with a crown inside it. Maybe a fake award, meant on taking advantage of not very informed collectors?

It was sold at some 275$ on eBay! The buyer was "pagoni" a specialist in Romanian militaria!

The monogram on the cross is a variation of the first with the "I" in the "M"... It is just scarcer to see... I saw that kind of monogram on a box of the Order of the Crown of Romania - Knight... The image is unfortunately no more available on eBay.

It is possible that this award may be religious (?)...

Maybe you can ask this "pagoni" what it was.

"Pagoni" is not a registered eBay user any more.
I am wondering, what did he change his name to? He bought a lot of Rumania-related artifacts.

Looks a little bit like our unknown medal, and like MV Order...

The image you posted is that of an old Italian order that now is some sort of a house order of the royal house of Italy. I do not think that it is related to the misterious badge under investigation.
