It appears that not all were fighter pilots and on some of them I don't have info on the circumstances of their deaths. Perhaps someone else could add more to the list:

Adj. Oprea Ioan = died on 21 Apr. 1944

Adj. Manea Nicolae = adj. sef Manea Nicolae, died on 21 Apr. 1944
Adj. Ciobanasu Aurel = adj. maj. Ciobanas Andrei, died on 21 Apr. 1944
Adj. Giurgea Alexandru = adj. Giurgiu Alexandru, died on 10 June 1944
Adj. Tarii Mihai = adj. stag. Tary/Târi Mihail, died on 10 June 1944
Adj. Lungulescu Constantin = adj. rez. Lungulescu Constantin, died on 24 June 1944
Adj. Dimache Constantin = died on 23 June 1944
Adj. Husea Ioan = not found
Adj. Bumbacila Gheorghe = elev pilot Bumbacila Gheorghe, died on 16 July 1944, on board of a He 111 [not a fighter pilot]

There were many-many other pilots, who died in defense of the Capital in 1944...

Sublocotenent Group: Members Posts: 449 Member No.: 334 Joined: September 01, 2004	I found a list in military archives for april - june 1944. There were 36 pilots who died and one third were from 1st Group. So , keep search ...

At the end of june they flight for the last time in combat and lost cpt. av. Parcifal Stefanescu , commander of 63th squadron and Gh. Prasinopol.
