That it could be a Bf 109 or a Russian plane, on what you base it?
You have information about that or it's just a sugestion? When the weather is with me i hope next week to find the wreck... |

On july 16, 1941 Bf-109 F-4 ( Wnr 8300) " white 14" pilot Fw. Erich Topan ( 7/JG52) ditched in Black Sea near Constanta. The pilot body was never recovered. This post has been edited by Cantacuzino on March 31, 2007 08:02 pm |

Last week i try to search for the wreck but the weather was not with me, I hope this week or next week to make a new search. Your info shows that there is a possibility that it can be a Bf 109. I really hope that i can tell you what finally the plane is and for sure i will made some photo's and post here. |

That incident actually happened on 26 July, and the pilot's family name was Tepan. The wrecks of a German '109 was raised several years ago from the Black Sea. I have a small piece of the metal skin. It's painted in shades of grey. Gen. Dénes This post has been edited by Dénes on April 11, 2007 05:15 am |

Yes, it was cought in the net of a fishing boat, however only the wings remained in the net, the fusalege is still on the seabed. The plane was german, and one wing is exibited at the Aeromuseum in Bucharest. This post has been edited by cipiamon on April 11, 2007 10:13 am |
