I want to say hello to all members I am new and I will be happy to join your topics. Alexandru Papana was a good aerobatic Rumanian pilot and during the war was training at Tindall airfield in Florida and various other other American air fields american pilots of the 15th air force on combat doctrines of the Germans and Rumanian.

He was relatively not taken too serious by the US military pilot community and either not popular with ACC eventhough he was at the inaguaration of the Miami airport in 1927 and had friends at Pan Am airline company of that time. His services with Army Air Cors were terminated a year before end of the war.

Due to his personal as well mental state of his after being none after the war, but also due to what he saw as his personal life failure , he commited suicide with a shot gun in his apartment in New York , alone from friends and family and little is known about the place he lived last and the grave yards
