Pre-War Romanian Generals - photos, identification

Maybe they were diplomatic awards received as part of the members of the Romanian delegation during an official visit to Poland or when receiving a Polish visit in Romania.

Here is a badge I have not seen before. I would love to find one like this. Just above his belt is a very large Romanian Eagle badge. About three times the size of the badge directly above to the right which is the badge for Instructor at the Superior War College. Can anyone identify this General :?:

These are wonderful! I like the one of the general in the alpine cap.

CCJ, General Looks like he is wearing an Italian Order. He has a smaller version of this order in his medal bar. On the other side of the uniform, he wears another Order suspended from a chain from the button and 2 Regimental badges. I can only make out one as being the Graduates badge from the Superior War College.

Here is an interesting photo dated 1931. I have seen photos and even have a couple of photos in which a Colonel wears a Colonels visor cap with a Generals Star in the center but one row of oakleaves on the visor bill for Senior Officer. Somewhere, I have a couple of photos of Colonels wearing Colonels Kepis noted by the rank bullion stripe, but with a Generals star and Generals white feather dress plume. What does it all mean :?: Acting Colonel in the role of Comanding General :?: Anyone recognize this highly decorated officer :?:

Wonderful, is that the Czech Lion Order heading up his order bar? That is odd...

Maybe the practice was similar to other countries being appointed as colonel in chief of a regiment. He may be a general officer in rank but has the honor of being "Colonel in Chief" of a regiment.

It was called colonel/commander with general's star. It meant that the guy had passed the exam for promotion to the rank of brigadier general, but there was no position for him at the moment and had to wait until he was actually promoted.
