Take a look at Google Earth,

it´s not an old map, but the most faszinating newest (world-)map I know.

You can have a look on these places and see how they look today,

you can approach the places so that you can see the fields and the single houses.

It is very interesting and the names of the places are the names of their countries (here: the Romanian names).

I dont remember, I bought it in 2000. There are 2 CDs, so if you find it at the pirates, I guess it would be around 200,000, though I noticed those guys sell the encyclopaedias at higher prices.

I need some more help with villages and towns, I need to find the following:

1. Singureni (in Basarbia not near Bucuresti)
2. Mandresti (must be in Basarbia near Zgardesti)
3. Bratuleni (must be in Basarbia)
4. Sendreni (in Basarabia near Varzaresti and Voinesti)
5. Stoenesti (I think it should be near Tiganca)
6. Tigheci
7. Razesti
8. Bucovat
9. Dubna
10. Ciocana Noua
11. Hartopul Mic, Ianovat, Buric
12. Rusestii Noi, Orac


All these must ne in Basarbia.
