I think it's a good ideea to have a topic dedicated to flags.

So, please post the flags you have in your collection, regardless of the period.

I have a few in my collection, so I'll start with one from RPR period.

I am surprised that no one commented about this really rare car pennant flag. It sold last week on Ebay for over $1,600.00 to a Czechoslovakian stamp collector. It was made in Germany. I beleive that this flag was used as an automobile standard in Berlin and used by Anonescu and by Tuka ( Prime Minister of Slovakia ) when they met with Adolf Hitler to sign the Anti-comintern Pact and Tripartite Pact on Nov 23, 1940 joining Romania with the Axis Powers.

This side is for Slovakia and is the Slovakian Presidential Flag during WW2.

Very interesting to see what kind of objects (flags) you are having in your collection. Can anyone explain me where all these flags are standing for? As non Romanian, I have no idea.

In my collection I am also holding a few colours. Of course a Dutch flag, an US stars and stripes (after 1948) and a British Union Jack and an East German (GDR) one. I think they are not so interesting to be showed at this topic.

At last I am also having a flag of the former Soviet republic of Russia. At the picture you see my example being used as a background for a Soviet Russian WWII M43 uniform. I think the picture is clear enough to recognize the Soviet Russian flag.

They are all from the communist years.
