Found this strange ammo pouch in an attic. It's made of stiff cardboard, the only leather parts are the lid hinge, the closing strap and the attaching part that is fixed to the metal ring at the rear.
It can hold two M95 clips (10 rounds). Hope the pictures will tell you more. So here it is: I'm curious about this - what puzzles me is the piece of leather fixed to the metal ring - seems original. I wonder to what/how this could be attached to the soldier's kit. -------------------- ®

It's an Austro-Hungarian ersatz ammo pouch made from cardboard they were many models made from different materials see here some examples.

I wonder, was this puoch used by transylvanian volunteers or did they use the romanian one? |
