I have two communist-era badges (both from the RPR period) that have serial numbers on the back.
One is a "Academia tehnica militara" (Military technical academy) badge with sn 2697 and the other is a "Pentru merit ceferist" (For railway merit) badge with sn 4147. Does anybody know other numbered communist badges and awards? I assume these were issued in the early communist years, imitating the Soviet custom of numbering the awards. But when did they stop numbering them? Are there any RSR awards or badges with numbers? Front: Back: |

The labour order also had serial numbers.

Thank you for posting the pics Cuza, great orders and badges. Who received the "Agricultural hero" in gold with serial number 1? Ceausescu himself?
Do you know when they stopped numbering less-important medals and badges? |

I do not know the recipient of the Ag Order or when the serial number stamping stopped. |
