In my data base is PZL P-11A No.7-46,sure one from Polish Air Force from 1939,in formation with Cpt.Av.Rata D-tru and Srg.Av.Cristoloveanu Gh.

Wasn't it rather in 1941 (May 5)? I've received info from a Russian person, stating this date. Was the combat reported in Soviet or Rumanian airspace? Or over the Black Sea?
Anyhow, I found no matching data in Rumanian sources. |

I suggest it was in the time of capturing Bessarabia and Northern Bukovina by Soviet Union. So, the fight probably was in the soviet territory, near the new border.
