A photo of a miltary officer from my collection.
I looks to date from sometime after 1974, going by the medals the officer is wearing: Order of Work (class unknown); Order of Miltar Merit, classes 1, 2 & 3 (this last has twisted on the ribbon and shows the plain reverse of this Order); 30th Anniversary of Liberation medal (1974); 50th Anniversary of he Founding of the Romanian Communist Party medal (1971); 25 years from the Proclamation of Independance medal (1972). I am surprised that there is no Military Academy graduate's badge being worn. I'm assuming that this is an army officer but can fellow members, experts in uniforms, coment on the rank or branch of service, please? |
