György Michna was the last Hungarian 'ace' fighter pilot living in Hungary. He was a former member of the famous 'Puma' Fighter Wing.

My very good friend Col George Cojocea passed away yesterday.
He was 90 years old. A true friend and a gentelmen. I'll never forget him. RIP. |

Comandor Iuliu Blaga (b. 1 February 1919, Blaj) passed away 3 March 2013 at 94 years old, today 5 March his burial will be held in Buzău! R.I.P.

Colonel (r.) Radu Scarlat Greceanu (b. 11 May 1915), artillery officer during WW2, POW for 4 years, brother of the more famous ace Tudor Greceanu, died 5 October 2012 at 97 years old. He is buried at Ghencea Militar cemetery. R.I.P.

General de brigadă (r.) Gheorghe Netejoru (b. 21 June 1922), author of the the book ”Și eu am luptat în Est” (I also fought in the East), Ed. Militară, 2010., sub-lieutenant in 2nd Guards Artillery Regiment during WW2, POW for 10 years, died 29 November 2012 at 90 years old. R.I.P.
