Since there is no magazine for collectors in Romania, me and Aldor Balazs, a collector of coins, decided to make one (in Romanian).

The first number can be downloaded from here:
http://www.worldwar2.ro/colectionarul/

In the first number:
"Ordinul si medalia Bene Merenti" de Charles Pankey
"Emisiunile monetare Habsburgice pentru Transilvania" de Aldor Balazs

We want it to be a magazine for all collectors, from all domains. We publish any article about orders, medals, stamps, coins, paper money, old books and newspapers, photos, uniforms, pins, old weapons, jetons, etc. (from any country, not only Romania) We also want to publish any history articles. If you want to contribute, contact us.

Please post any comments, suggestions or critics about the magazine in this topic.

Hallo Dragos and Aldor Balazs:D

Just to wish you every success with your new "Online" magazine, It is something badly needed. (hopefully the medal information can be supplied in english biggrin.gif ??

My main intrest are Military medals and Military History but I agree that collections of everthing should be included as to keep people intrested. We ned to stimulate the younger generation interest as they all seem to be intrested in are computer games. (Nothing personal against gamers but it seems to be taking over the youngsters sad.gif

I am a member of the Hobby Club in Deva, and I have raised the point that we need to interest the young people, but most of the guys there are old and don't want to change anything.

A good friend of mine wanted to run for the position of the new President of the club, but failed on three reasons, nobody would nominate him as "He was to young" and "He has no experience"!!!!

Despite these remarks he managed to get in as vice-president and guess what the "OLD" crew don't want to listen to his ideas about getting more members or making the club more interesting.

So long live this new magazine and congratulations on taking the initiative to produce it.

Kevin in Deva.

Hi NCR,

The leaders of the Numismatic Society have the same attitude. That's why we decided to make this magazine ourselves.

We considered an English version but we don't have enough time to translate the articles. So it will be in Romanian.

However, if you want to contribute, i can translate your articles from English. You can write about any Romanian or foreign orders and medals.

The next number will be ready soon.
