In a movie about the life of Fidel Castro, the character Gen. Fulgencio Batista was wearing the Medal of Military Virtue.

Yesterday, I went to the Mall wanting to see Walk the Line, but eventually ended up seeing The Grimm Brothers. The film was average, but I was surprised to see the French general (it was set in the Napoleonian era) wearing the Commander class of the Coroana Romaniei Order. Probably someone thought it was a good looking order.

In The Prize, the character Count Bertil Jacobsson is also wearing the Commander's cross of the Order of the Crown of Romania.

One can of course mention the Romanian movies where the appearance of Romanian orders is by no means an amazing occurrence. However, quite often the depiction of the awards is inaccurate as illustrated in the thread Virtutea Militara Medal WWI edition.
