In a booklet with regulations for "Asociatia Cercetaselor Romaniei" (The Association of Romanian Girlscouts) published in 1929, there are several awards specified.
Numbered badges for all the members (bronze for regular members, silver for commanders and gold for the Great Commander). Also, for exceptional merits, there was an award called "The golden cross Princess Ileana". Are there known examples of these awards? |

On March 10 1917, Ecaterina Teodoroiu received two awards:
- Military Virtue Cross 2nd Class - "Virtutea cercetaseasca in aur de razboi" (Girlscout's Virtue in gold, war version) How did the second award look like? |

This would imply that there are such badges with Ferdinand's cipher. Has anyone seen them, with or without swords? BTW, can anyone give more information about the badge above (see my original question in Boy Scout Badge Awarded for WW1...)? |

No, I don't think that you will find badges with other cyphers ! Carol2 was the "boss" from the boyscouts since he was 17 or something like that. That's why all boyscouts badges have the cypher from C2 even if they are from the Carol1 or Ferdinand period. Btw,I never saw a Virtutea Cercetaseasca badge with swords! |

I doubt he also maintained this position between 1925 and 1930. Anyhow, I come back to my original question: "Can anyone give some information about Virtutea Cercetăşească?". |
