During the Military Museum "Open Gates" of 13th-14th of May, apart other interesting activities, the Museum staff intend also to host a Militaria fair, in order to encourage the military items collectors and enthusiasts. A small military antiques fair was also organized during the last year “Open Gates”, but now they want to have more participants. The stands will be installed in the Museum’s courtyard but if the weather will be rainy the people will be hosted in the conference hall.
A similar fair will be also held during the reconstruction of Arges River Battle, at Fort Mogosoaia, on the 9th of September. |

I think it is going to be a living history event (exactly like last year, except the period 1877 instead of WWII) not a reenactment.
The Military fair, if it is going to be like it was last year at the "Open Gates", it's going to be just a normal collector fair. This post has been edited by mihnea on May 15, 2006 08:51 am |

Why not during the summer when there are more tourists coming to Romania? Yes, first arguement is weather and heat but a lot of people from outside the country would be there. Including me!
