Does the TACAM R2 have a top or roof to the gun casement or is it left open? Thanks.

Thank you Mihnea and Grizzly for the pictures. Does the red rectangle on the rear of the vehicle mean anything?

i have a question, how was the Tacam R2 used in battle
as an tank destroyer, like marder (his original purpose) as an suport vehicle like stug (it was carriying both tipes of amunition) or like an self propelled field gun (i don't know if this designation is correct but Tacam R2 retained a 15-17 degrees elevation angle, and was carrying 21 he rounds and only 9 ap rouds) |

First of all it wasn't used in battle on many occasions. Given the nature of the fighting carried out by the Romanian Army in 1944-45, when tank battles were pretty rare, the TACAM R-2 was probably mostly used as a support weapon.
