Hi!

I am currently trying to find references on WWII in the Bessarabian/Moldovan region. I am espcially interestedn in the Iaş-Chişinău operation, but other battles as well in the region. I have come up with some titles, but would really like to hear your opinion on them and whether or not I have missed any important work. Some of them is from this forum, while other are from the Axis History Forum. Hopefully it can be of help to someone else as well.

I read English/German, get by in Russian and will hopefully be able to read Romanian after a few more months of study. Anything in Swedish/Norweigan/Danish would also be ok, although I doubt there are any.

Best regards

Andreas Johansson

I read this one: Klaus Schonherr "Luptele Wemachtului in Romania", Ed. Militara, 2004. It is a good resume on what happened and what is more important, that man studied both german and romanian archives, himself being part of the german army.
