For those who have been looking here is an original copy of a very good book on the campaign up to Stalingrad. I have one and use it frequently, so good luck to those who bid!

Ebay pulled off this auction a couple of days ago, right after a Romanian bidder entered the competition.

yes - the romanian bidder was a friend of mine who was trying to buy it for me
 dunno what happened and why we could not buy it. |

I guess someone reported the auction to ebay and they pulled it off. Perhaps because of the seller's mistake - he did not mentioned the fact that this is not for sale in Germany, Austria and Italy, and it is being sold as a historical reasearch item only. Pity though, it is a good book.

That particular book pops up on eBay rather frequently, but always at a high price.

Well, you didn't wait until the auction closed. It's usually in the last minutes, if not seconds, when the price jumps up dramatically.
