Can anyone recommend a good Romanian-English dictionary? I can see many available to buy on the site www.librarie.net but I can't tell which is the best. I am looking for something fairly comprehensive, but that is reasonably up to date. Hope someone can help me.

Hello,
Bantas is the best author, but Ms Nechifor is not so bad either. Depends on the level of Romanian you are currently on. As for the grammar and syntax part of the dictionary, and the various means for each word, again I must say that Bantas is the best author curently on the market. Cheers, Al PS - Search for used copies of Leon Levitchi's dictionary. This is the best in my opinion. The most comprehensive version is the 1992 one. |
