Airoplane pictures, 2 small Pictures found in Deva.

Hallo Gentlemen

I will post here two pictures of Aeroplanes for your consideration, first and foremost I am not a recognition expert on aircraft

One looks to me like a Wellington bomber?, the picture is taken from the rear showing the rear turret it looks like a Romanian Roundel with the number B-010
the number is partialy visible on the right wing as well, there is an upper turret forward of that an antenna and the the cockpit.

The second photo is a side shot of a small plane, two seater trainer of some type, the markings on the side start with Ea-441, looks like place for a machine gun forward on the fusalage.

Behind this plane are two others the furthest away looks like the plane described in the first picture ? and I have no idea about the plane in the middle.

I have enlarged one of the pictures for a better view. both original pictures measure 9 X 7 cm.

I don't think those are romanian roundels - look on the tail, might give you a clue about their id.

Both planes are Argentinian. The bomber is an Avro Lincoln. The trainer is a Fiat G.46-5B. The photo was taken at the Museo Nacional de Aeronautica. You can actually see the nose of the Lincoln in the background of the two-seater.

BTW, you were wondering about the plane in the middle, behind the Fiat. That is a "Pulqui" one of Dr Kurt Tank's later creations.

thanks for the quick identification, I tried to get an enlargement of the tail insignia but the picture lost all definition.

If anyone is intrested in the picture make me an offer by P.M. as long as I get what I paid for them, and of course the postage they can have them.*

Or will swop for a nice original picture of Romanian soldiers Ww1 or WW2 prefrebly wearing medals

The aircraft seem in the middle is not the "Pulqui" designed by Kurt Tank, which was a fully modern-looking, sweep-wing fighter. The aircraft in the photo is the Pulqui I, designed by Emile Dewoitine.

Do219 in Romanian markings (from eBay)

Nice picture. That is a Dornier 17 M.
The "8" series type number" "219" was assigned to Heinkel.

I thought the Do-17s were bought after 22 june. Is this plane and the Heinkel in the background wearing "western front" roundels? I had the feeling there were no Do-17 left i the ARR by then. Any info about this particulary plane?

Thanks, Radu. I simply copied the legend from the auction page.

The legend identifies the planes as "booty", hence they could have been captured.
