I don't think so. The shorter studs are leaning out wider and the distance between longer studs is smaller.

It is a Sopwith 1/2 Strutter. Note the central "inverted V" strut straddling the machine gun. HTH Radu |

An it looks like is a Gnome Rhone engine version of the Strutter. |

Seller claims it's Tousau T Uiklee when it's actually Ionescu I. Mircea Also Locot. Comandor is written with a different handwriting, probably added to increase the value of the photo ? |

Yes, the question was serious. I am completely ignorant about military aviation and I posted this pic just for your delight, as I saw that you guys are very passionate about the subject. I just hoped that somewhat might find something interesting about this photo, no particular interess for me. When you said that the name interpretation was wrong, I thought that I didnt read well the name of Ionescu. I was not aware about owner's interpretation, I thought you refere to me.
