Who is "Army Radio" Which army? Israeli? Freedonian? French? (do they HAVE an army?) On the face of it, this "report" looks suspicious to me. I realize that rumor=fact for many in the mideast (both sides), but I'd like to see something more substantive before I'd give it one shred of credence. If it IS true, it only adds to Chirac's lackluster final days. Maybe he was visited by the ghost of Anthony Eden and told he could reprise the glory that was the Suez "crisis" (France's final act on the world stage). |
