Based on the success this forum has, I just opened my new forum on Hungary and World War 2 (and beyond): http://denes.us/forums/YaBB.pl
The outline of forum is still under construction; however, the general idea will not change. If you have any questions regarding the Royal Hungarian Army (Magyar Királyi Honvédség), Air Force (Honvéd Légierö), or other Hungarian armed forces, please feel free to post them on this new forum. Thanks, Dénes This post has been edited by Dénes on July 27, 2006 09:08 pm |

Excelent idea!
I’m also very interested on Hungarian military history as it had close connections with our history (unfortunately not very good ones). This could be a good opportunity to understand and respect others opinions. I have some good friends in Hungary interested on military history (one of them works at the Military Museum in Budapest) and we exchange a lot of interesting information. I’m also very much abreast of the reenactment movement in Hungary. We do hope to have some Hungarian guests at our Arges River reconstruction of September. I’ll inform my Hungarian friends about this forum and hope that they will became members. Many useful information came from such a forum and for me was a good example the cooperation with the Bulgarian forum “Traditsia” (http://www.traditsia.com/forum/). It is written in Bulgarian but finally I succeeded to convince them to create an international section in which interested people from abroad could write in an international language. The language is the main obstacle in a communication and I hope that your forum will have at least an International Section as the Hungarian language is not accessible to most of the foreign readers. I would like very much to became a member of this new forum. |

I suggest forums should be made visible for guests also (not-registered users). This would definitely help attracting more visitors.

Fine idea, Dénes. I'll register myself too. Btw, I agree with Dragos: if the forums are enabled to be viewed also by non-registered visitors, it will undoubtly atract more users.

I also think it's a good idea. Therefore, I already asked the webmaster to make the necessary changes. I hope the forum is now visible for everybody. Gen. Dénes |

There are no ranks on the forum (yet). However, I can offer you the special status of "honorary guest". Gen. Dénes |

I can no longer access any of the forums, even when I am logged in. Everytime I try to enter a forum, I receive the following message:

A few other members signalled the same problem.
Unfortunately, the webmaster is away for 2 weeks, so the problem cannot be solved until he'll return. However, one member said that he filled out his register card and the problem was solved. Could that be the issue? Gen. Dénes |
