Hello, friends!
Does somebody know the real fate of the vessel? In the third part of Koslinski & Stanescu book was written that she sunk on a mine off Isaccea (Danube) on 12.6.1943, but in Rohwer’s “Allied submarines attacks” we could found the she felt victim of the soviet sub M-111 off Crimean coast on 18.7.1943. What is true? Regards, Miroslav |

Here is a list of barges lost on the Danube: http://www.worldwar2.ro/forum/index.php?sh...findpost&p=1411
Dunarea-1 does not seem to be among them. |
