Sunday 3 September 2006, in order to commemorate 7 years since the aviation historian/painter Ion Taralunga passed away, a book dedicated t ohis life and work will be launched at the Aviation Museum. The book contains interviews taken by Taralunga with veteran aviators, stories about his childhood and friends' testimonials.

Is it already seven years since he died?  I knew him fairly well, and his death came as a shock, as he appeared to be healthy and lively. I will certainly try to get hold on a copy. Gen. Dénes |
