I need your help - I found these items in the Aviation Hangar from the Military Museum and no one knows what they are, my guess is the first one has something to do with the bombs (seting the delay betwen how bombs fall perhaps ?), no ideea what the second one was:

The one with german captions on it is supposed to "regulate the succession of photos". Maybe it was used in conjunction with a recon camera or maybe a gun camera?

rgr, I think "Achtung Bodenklappe Ofnnen" means "Achtung -some bays- Opened" , I thought those were bombbays + it had a counter "Bildfolge" which is numbered in seconds and it is actionated by the big black round thing. It also has a second counter lower which I don't know what it is. It is possible to be a recon camera and it set the gap between 2 pictures.

The first one is definitely some device used for aerial photo cameras (as you can see from the plates on it (the one with Rb 75/30, etc and the one stating "Bildfolge / sek - Photo sequence-, and especially the plae on the side "bildfolgeregler" that means "photo sequence regulator").

The second one looks polish. smile.gif

Where do they got if from?

I know most of the parts from the Aviation Museum are known from where they are comming from, for ex the wing of the 109 is fished form the sea, the propelor from the 190 was found while some workers were doing excavation for a channel.

hello everbody,
I think that it is from the aerial camera,
"zamrač" - zamračeno - in english- overcast
"oblač"- oblačno- in english- cloudy
"jasno"- jasno- in english- clear weather
The black tag on the photo nr. 7 is also Czech, this part probably belong from german planes, which was used by The Czechoslovakia air force after world war 2. in The czechoslovakia was made many german parts after the ww2, because our army used german captured planes, vehicles and other too. Before started use soviet equipments of course.

They may be photographic reconnaisance equpment fitted to a German plane manufactured in Czechoslovakia.
Could they be the last remainders of a FW189? In the last photo I also see a Rb50/30 camera in the background, which was most likely associated with these.

FW189s were built by the Aero factory in Prague and some were captured by the ARR after the 23rd of August.

Radub is right. The last four photos show an S-13 gun camera, as fitted to several Czechoslovak AF aircraft during the Fifties. I have a Czech walkaround book with two interesting photos of an identical device bolted to the breech of the rear defence 20mm UB-20 cannon in the Czech-built Il-10 (Avia B-33) preserved at the Kbély aviation museum, near Prague. I don't know whether that aircraft still has the gun camera fitted. I remember it had an "Y" shaped plinth, which was secured thanks to the screws visible in the photos posted by D-13. A rain-proof cover was attached to the plinth.
I think the S-13 was originally a Russian gun camera (it was used in the MiG-15 and other Russian aircraft of the same era) made under licence in Czechoslavakia, but I am not sure. It may have been made with directions in Czech language.
