You can buy metal detectors from www.eBay.de, for example.
Here are two such auctions:

If you will ever find the remnants of a Bf 109G somewhere in the forest, you may expect the wreck to look something like this: http://sevzirfo.narod.ru/samolet.htm
(page loads slowly)

good info, thanks!
i found a list of claims, a Luftwafe list of claims. There are inimaginabile amounts of planes crushed near Bucharest (and this is just the Luftwaffe claims) a few days ago a friend of mine from Bolintin Deal told that a neigbor that livs in the extrimity of this city, while he was diging a hole for a new WC he fond remainings of a plane
Unfortunatly his goal was just to finish his hole sad.gif
I got to go and tolk to this man.

The metal pieces You found near Bolintin could be from a Dornier-17 as on the nameplate is written Dornier werke ( mayby a night fighter variant from NJG 100) ????

hmm, i also heard that one night the flack that was located at Bolintin Vale hit a plane during nightime. I have no other info on this, like the year or any kind of details.

But i also found a crash site near Bolintin Vale, at Bolintin Deal, near the extrimity of this town. Somthing beneath the earth, found by a vilager while he was diging to do a wc.

From the Liberator that crushed at Ogrezeni i managed to recover a wheel from the motor. Is a mechanical component of the engine, i heavent seen yet, my grandmother did the good job smile.gif
But it seems that nobody knows anything about this B24 that crush landed at Ogrzeni sad.gif

I found a component of the b 24 that crashed at Ogrezeni. Is very heavy.
I seems like a engine component.
Any ideeas what it might be?
