Denes, could you tell us please, if the book includes some new aspects of the Hs-129 in the ARR ?

The book focuses on the technical details of the airplane (attention modellers!), with lots of photos and illustrations taken from various manuals. It has no details on combat operation, thus ARR is only briefly mentioned.
Perhaps a new, larger book will cover, in detail, the combat operations, too.

I will definitely look for this book! One of my favourite airplane of WW2, and very little info on it! This will help me build a nice Romanian plane! cool.gif

Of course it's a serious offer. blink.gif
The price will be the same asked by the store, plus shipping fees (from Toronto).
Also, you'll be the first in North America to receive the book. ohmy.gif

Recently, I (finally) received from the Editor a courtesy copy of my latest book 'Henschel Hs 129 In Detail'.

Apart of a few spelling errors that were not corrected, and several photos and information that were left out due to lack of printing space, I am generally pleased with the book.

Here is the web page of this book, on the web site of the publisher, Midland Publ., UK:

P.S. Unfortunately, on several internet-based book stores (including Amazon's various sites), the author is mentioned as Martin Pegg. This major error was not corrected (yet), even after I drew the sellers' attention to the problem.

Gen. Denes, on the subject of Henschel 129s, were you ever acquainted with the Romanian Ex-Pat aircraft designer Marcel Jurca?

I met him in the 1980s, when he lived in France. He was a Henschel 129 pilot, I seem to recall.
