Hallo Dragos
I would tend to think a flag-pole, the ones carried by people not the big one in a barracks but many German organisations, civil and military had flags such as these. Officers Staff Cars usualy carried small triangular or Rectangular flags called pennants made in cloth or tin, cant remember ever having seen a metal swastika fixed to a car though. Kevin in Deva. PS imageshack is not allowing large size pictures, only imageshack advertising comes up when I click on it This post has been edited by New Connaught Ranger on December 19, 2006 09:34 pm |

Hallo Dragos, seeing the amount of flag-poles the Germans had during WW2 I doubt if the item can be described as rare, as such items turn up on Ebay. Rare, possibly to be found in Romania though Kevin in Deva |
