At December 5 1945,an romanian corporal from gendarmerie was credited by a Daily Order for a Bf-110 shot down an railway station Varadia, near Timisoara, with his machne gun.The date is September 5 or October 5 1944.It has a crew of four, identified Slt.Ventel and Subof. Timpar.
In anyone know the name of the other two crew members and the unit. |

The date was Sept. 5. I have the claim location listed at Vinga, in Timis County.
The following text is given in the document: "10.46. One of the attacking enemy fighters was shot down by the gendarmes." Unfortunately, I found no info from German sources, based on the two names (the names are probably mis-spelled). No matching loss either in the Luftwaffe loss lists (which are incomplete for 1944), for Sept. 5. |
