I talked today with Dragos Stinghe.
He said that some Vets are trying to bringback from Spain the remains of Constantin Bazu Cantacuzino and to let him rest in his home land.In Mogosoaia more exactly.
Those who have conections or useful ideas will be more then helpfull.

As far as I know in Mogosoaia is Brancoveanu family ( two brothers Brancoveanu pilots were burried there ).

The home of Cantacuzino family is at Tescani ( Prahova ?)

Anyway it will be a nobil act to bring back home his remains.

First of all, I believe also needed relatives approvals ( from his daughter ?)
And some conections to higher ranks in aviation (they can provide the air transport)
As for the cost someone should make a calculation before looking for sponsors.

Well I already did that.
And here we have a problem.
His dauther and other living relatives would like very much to bring him home.
Only that the grave he-s burried in,is like an apartment block...
In order to exhum, him, they have to open other graves ,and that can be very complic.

Bringing home 'Bâzu' would be a fitting tribute to a great airman and sportsman.
I truly hope this endeavour will be successful.

Other two important persons are burried in the same grave: Princess Z. Mavrocordat Sturdza and Prince M. Sturdza Jora.

Good photos !
Acording to a family member, during the period of Caramitru as a minister of culture, there was a tentative to bring Bazu to Belu cemetry, near his father.
