Those colour photos of ARR airplanes were originally taken by veteran pilot Sorin Tulea.

This photo is also part of the series of shots taken by pilot Sorin Tulea in 1942, while flying from Brasov to Bucharest.
Herr Mareschal, who are the two ARR airmen in your avatar? |

Now I do remember.
This is a detail enlargement from a larger group photo, that's why it wasn't obvious. |

Yes, I concur with Getu'.
Judging by their helmets and epaulettes, they appear to be Bulgarian soldiers. |

A book has appeared published by a guy named Reinhard Oltmann, about the Eastern Front campaign. It is said to have the best Color pictures available, and of exceptional clarity. - highly Reccomended.
More volumes of this book will soon be available: "In the Deapths of Russia" - 1942 and "The Change of Fate" 1943-1945" |
