Gentelmen,
I am very glad I found this forum.
Being new, I am afraid I might post in the wrong section, and I am sure that I am asking a question that had already been answered.
Therefore, aplogise in advance.
I am looking into the history of the IAR-80 two seater. We are long term planning the production of replica fighter aircraft, and IAR 80 is one of the subjects that is ranking quite high actually.
Can anyone please provide images of the plane in the two seat configuration.
Many thanks in advance
Kindest regards
Saso

As far as I know there is only one picture with the two seater IAR 80 . I don't think it 's enough for accurate replica.
Can you give us more details about this project ( scale, materials used, engine etc). Mayby we can help with original factory drawings for overall dimensions.

Dear Sir,
Many thanks for the answers.
There is only one way to replicate a thing nicely. Scale 1:1, construction as per original.
I know that many ears are tuned to the above statment. So, please realise, that we are in a state when we are setting up a long term plan of development. Nothing will happen shortly. But, if you would like to see an IAR 80 or two take to the skies again, you can help the thing to be chosen. E.g. please post the image of the two seater or please inform us if there are still original drawings to be found, if not how, about the replica from the museum etc.
So there is a lot you can do to help the thing get chosen.
Many thanks for the answers and please feel free to contact me and the club via e-mail.

Another subquestion,
when talking about the IAR-80 two seater, I mean the postwar (DC?) model. Can that be, that only one picture remains, as quite a number of airframes were converted?
Kindest regrads

Thank you again for the image!

Does anybody know, from the top of his head, how much of the technical documentation survived?
Kindest regards
