Here are the awords of Nazarevsky Victor. I bought them from his son. He was decorated with the Order of Michael the Brave 3rd class for rezisting the russian army. He was captured and sent in a prison camp. He was decorated post-mortem because they thought he was dead but he came back at the end of the war. This is what his son told me.
This is wrong Căpitan Nazarevici V. Victor - din Regimentul VIII „Dragoş" nr. 29: DR 1492/4.05.1945 - cl. III cu spade (post-mortem) This is corect Capitan Nazarevsky Victor - din Regimentul VIII „Dragoş" nr. 29: DR 1492/4.05.1945 - cl. III (post-mortem) This post has been edited by Claudiu1988 on March 12, 2009 10:42 am |

Bravo ! Congratulatations on your find. It is always an awsome find when you know the name of the individual to which the group belongs to. You should ask the son if he has any documentation or brevets that go along with the group especially the Michael the Brave and Regimental badge brevets which are scarce. Photos or copies of photos of the Captain would also make this collection stand out as it gives a providence and supporting history to the group. See what else the son has to offer.

Congratulations, it's a great group. Like RUC said, I hope you also got the award certificates. Btw, that's why you were selling your communist awards?

Thanks I fought to buy this order more then 2 years because he didn't want to sell it. But victory at last
I talked with him and this is all he has. He had a photo with his father but didn't want to sell it so I told him if I could make a xerox copy and he agreed. Next week I will go at his home and take the photo and then I will put it on the forum. This post has been edited by Claudiu1988 on January 07, 2007 04:46 pm |
