Hallo erwin,
nice pieces, have any of the WW2 German got numbers stamped into the rings? The French Croix de Guerre comes with the dates 1914 - 1915, 1914 - 1916, 1914 - 1917, and 1914 - 1918, which dates has yours? The item with the black and white ribbon is not a military medal, but for membership to a Prussian Military Veterans Association. The location of which should be on the ribbon, can you post a close up of the ribbon?? The Hindenberg Cross with Swords for Combatant dated 1914-1918 Was actually issued in 1934 on application by the German veteran of WW1. Six and a halk million plus, were known to have been issued of this type alone. Kevin in Deva |
