In april 1947 somewhere in Dobrogea (probably near Constanta) was stationed the 874th Motor Rifle Regiment of the 25th Guards Motorized Rifle Division, where a Lieutenant-Colonel named Alexander Mihaylovich Voitenko (32 years old) was the Chief of Staff of this Regiment. The 25th Guards MRD was part of the separate Mechanized Army from Romania. Information taken from a ex-officer of the 34th Infantry Regiment (obviousely a romanian unit) from Constanta, from that period.
