Here is a nice song, it is not a march, it is contemporary, played by Daniel Avram, lyrics Pavel Corut, I think, but IMO it's an very impresive song.

Hi,
I looked fast through all the posts under this topic, and I think they do not clarify a simple matter (which I don't know):

What song was Romania's national anthem during the Antonescu government?
To avoid any confusion, please consider only the period after the rebellion and the demise of the Legion.
Thanks,
Florin

QUOTE (guina @ August 19, 2012 08:52 pm)
God save the king.

Wouldn't the translation be more like "Long live the king"?

Yes, I think that is closer to "Traiasca Regele".
My thanks - also to "guina" as well.

Since I wrote the message few hours ago, I suddenly remembered "Traiasca Regele", but thanks to you I have the confirmation.

contras,it is a nice song.I think photos which are in the video are of Romanian Army in WW2. Is that correct?. There are photos of dead people too. To think many people have died of world war 2 that is horrible.

Both links presents "just" 2 hours each. Can you be more specific, as probably few people will look to the end to identify the songs?

I Have linked the time/moment when the song is played. If you open it you will see.

I've noticed myself that the links don't take you to the moment the song is played (no idea why that is).
So I will post the exact time in the videos where the song is played.
44:44 and 49:50 in this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ScgoXdzTDdU
1:01:00 in this one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rYOHfN5Etdo
If would appreciate it if anybody could tell me the name of the song.
