These are official wartime propaganda photos made by Kriegsberichter.
After 1945, there is NO COPYRIGHT for any official Nazi-era photos.

Mihai-san, I am very well aware of copyright problems, I am fighting myself against infringements. However, with these photos it's not the case, that's why I posted those photos.

Bundesarchiv does NOT have the copyright for official WARTIME propaganda photos. They ask publishing fees for the photos/negatives, not copyright fees.
I have been to Bundesarchiv Koblenz and paid publishing fees for some of their photos I used. But this is a different issue.

I repeat, there is no copyright for official wartime propaganda photos made during the IIIrd Reich.

By the way, for several years I already have a print of the above propaganda photo made by a German Kriegsberichter, showing 4 Rumanian airmen in front of their Ju 88. I don't claim copyright for it, because no-one has the copyright any more.
That's why you can also publish photos from wartime German official magazines, despite Bundesarchiv (and ECPA-Paris) still having the negatives.

Dénes, since we are talking about Photographs and copyright at the moment, I will show you what in my oppinion is the best Collection of World War II / III Reich photographs in the world.. smile.gif

Perhaps you have heard of Hugo Jaeger, and his collection, - there are more than 2000+ COLOR pictures of the war and 3rd reich era. (including aircraft pictures, luftwaffe, photos of german towns reduced to rubble by bombardments, even pictures of Bucarest in 1941 with germans in the streets....etc..etc..all in crystal clear
Agfa-Chrome Color Film.

You will find it here: http://www.timelifepictures.com/source/CFW...ts=&pes=&lr=500, and this collection now belongs to TIME LIFE inc. and is located in the ""Rockefeller Center"" New York :? . :?

The original film - the negatives are in this building, - they hold the copyright for all photographs..I would buy this collection if I had enough money - I really would.

It just totally changes you view of those times once you see these images...

You must register to see the entire collection, but it's free and it's done quickly. Please take a look there, I think these photographs will blow you away - these images speak more words then any world war2 & 3rd reich book ever written. I think that it's worth you take a look.

enjoy

PS: the actual images are much larger, as large as you computer monitor, and in amazing clarity and detail - you would think they were made today..but you must register to see them in full size.
