At the recent Collectors fair in Deva I picked up this small pin,

its believed to have a connection to the following group:

Asociaţia Voluntară pentru Sprijinirea Apărării Patriei /

(Voluntary Association for Supporting the Defence of the Motherland).

Carol I has informed me it was established in 1952 and disbanded in 1962.

Any information / pictures of this organisation would be welcome.
