search every infos about this Unit Explecit 23.August 1944 IASI. Graphics maps ,photos etc. Perhaps someone can help me.

At the time, the 12th Mountain Battalion was in Transylvania with the rest of the 3rd Mountain Division. On the front in Moldavia was only a scaled down version of the 3rd Division, called the 103rd Mountain Brigade (Comandamentul 103 Munte), but which was much to the West of Iasi, in the mountains South of Falticeni.
