Thank you, gentlemen. Excellent suggestions and links! A great itinerary has been born: London-Munich-Belgrade! (enroute to Ro, of course).
Nice shots, Max Fax, including the exteriors of the museum. It looks like a great design; with all that natural light the A/C must look a great deal better than they do stuffed away in some of the dusty,windowless hanger museums I've seen. I did find some leads here, ty Denes, including an opeerational and apparently flight certifies 109 for sale (850,000 USD.... now if I can only talk them into a "test drive", lol.) http://www.controller.com/listings/detail.aspx?OHID=1110397 Unfortunately, this one has a Merlin engine, requiring a nose mod which apparently makes it look like a "Bouchon" (pigeon). yuk. No word about the armaments included. |

Add also "Berlin -Gatow" for the Luftwaffen Museum. They have a pretty original Bf 109G in sand cammo and many rare WW2 birds ( like Me 163 Komet). |

Monino,near Moscow also has an impresive colection .Its worth visiting!
