My breadbag, as promissed...

Sergent major Group: Members Posts: 241 Member No.: 975 Joined: June 27, 2006	This is my german ww2 breadbag,wich seems to be a late version,but yet i don`t know if it was a Wehrmarcht or an SS one or the front it was used. The only missing things are the slings. Along with it came this leather belt wich i guess was used to hold the messkit( please correct me) So,anyone better than me in identyfying this breadbag? ( no markings)

By the way,is the communist model of the fieldbottle fitting on this breadbag( for reenactment purposes)? P.S. Fruntas Group: Members Posts: 89 Member No.: 998 Joined: July 19, 2006	A new addition to my collection - a breadbag of some sort. I guess it's Romanian, from the ww2 era. I've took a picture of it (the one to the right) next to a postwar one (the one to the left). Both have almost the same size. I couldn't find any markings. And as a difference the postwar one has the inside divided into two sections. So what do you think? Any opinions are welcomed. -------------------- ®

Capitan Group: Members Posts: 682 Member No.: 679 Joined: September 26, 2005	I'm not 100% sure but I can say 90% that it is a WWII bread bag or at least as WWII-ish as my 1942 bread bag ( http://www.worldwar2.ro/forum/index.php?sh...ad%20bag&st=120 ) unfortunately it's missing the two attaching points for the canteen. Could you post some more pictures of it with the inside.
