Capitan Group: Members Posts: 682 Member No.: 679 Joined: September 26, 2005	It's a spare barrel carrier for the Mg 34/42 (Laufschutzer 43, it's the universal one). If you spray some WD-40 on it the paint will reappear and it would look very nice.

mihnea, wd-40 is feruginol or....the "rust off" sray?

Capitan Group: Members Posts: 682 Member No.: 679 Joined: September 26, 2005	wd-40 is a light oil spray it on and then wipe off the excess, not feruginol (it will work but apply it with a brush in small amounts with the risk of removing some of the paint and the surface will remain sticky). http://www.wd40.com/Brands/wd40_product_info.html
