The original edition has 64 photos. These are printed on glossy paper (the rest of the book is matt paper). There are two glossy paper sections, each with 32 photos.
Apart from that, on the matt paper, in between text, there are maps and line drawings (some aircraft, some armour, some artillery, some ships). There are also diagrams with the structure of units and inventories of equipment (types and amounts). T

FAAR? I see he is still sticking to the old, same old ackronym... even distorted. sad.gif

BTW, is the page count the same?

Just looking at the cover posted, the fact that "Axworthy" is underlined in red, it looks like it is a printscreen taken straight from a graphic software such as Corel Draw - these tend to highlight words that need "correcting" (like a word processor would). Is that the real cover? The original cover has the well-known picture of a machine gun team (wearing summer uniform) in a trench.
Also, the names of Cornel Scafes and Cristian Craciunoiu no longer appear on the cover.

In the original, Chapter 9 deals with "FARR" (I know, still not right rolleyes.gif ). FAAR may be a typo.
Original edition has 368 pages.

Hi Victor,
It is not Amazon... the book is in a shop that lists their books through Amazon. If it is any consolation, they do not sell to Ireland either. They ship only within the US.

Hi Maxfax,
I tried to order from Ireland and they would not send it here. How does that make me "wrong"?
Anyway, congratulations!

The original edition was a very good book, in my opinion, but I hope the authors have made a few revisions and have corrected some inaccuracies in this current edition.
