I apologize ! I just made a slightly correction of your words. Please, do not feel offended ! Amazon.com has informed me about a ~ 1 month delivery time from this seller. I have contact the seller (through Amazon) and I got a very fast answer. They told me delivery time should be around 7-10 days and ... the book is already in the mail ! Shipping costs for Europe/Germany were 12,49$ Anyway the "Marketplace" policy of Amazon is not very clear. They say "Note: non-U.S. buyers at Amazon Marketplace must be located in a country covered by Amazon.com Payments." The Amazon.com Payments countries are: Australia Belgium Brazil Canada Denmark Finland France Germany Hong Kong Iceland Ireland Italy Japan Republic of Korea Mexico Netherlands New Zealand Norway Portugal South Africa Spain Sweden Switzerland United Kingdom (England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales) United States (including U.S. protectorates). So Radu from Ireland should be able to buy the book and I from Romania not ! I'm thinking at the billing address ! But it seems that the shipping address is more important ?! |

MaxFax,
It is hard not to be offended. I come here for pleasure, not to pick fights about "Şini-i şăf în şeapeu". I am tired of this kind of endless rows about WHO is right instead of WHAT is right. I am tired of this kind of discussions that lose track of the issue in a fog of name-calling. Remember, this story started with Victor not being able to buy the book. I just described my experience. I have no idea what happened, but I suspect that Amazon sent me to the first shop on their list and that shop does not sell to Ireland. Other shops may do, but the one I was sent to does not. That is all. How does proving me "wrong" help Victor (or anyone else) get his book? I may be wrong, I may be right, but that is not the issue here. Can you not simply post the "what is right", respectively a means to get the book, without passing judgement about "who is right"? Radu |

An excellent book that should have been reprinted years ago. I hope it will broaden the knowledge on the Romanian army in WW2.

All of you interested to buy the book, just go at:
http://www.hailerpublishing.com/ It seems they are shipping world wide. Those stupid limitations were Amazon's policy Anyone interested to deal directly with Jamie Hailer, just send me a PM. |
