Was the 2nd Armoured Regiment the only armour in the 27th Tank Brigade or was the 2nd Armoured Regiment attached to an already fully equipped Soviet tank brigade? Cheers!

In March 1945, when it was attached to the 27th Tank Brigade in Slovakia, it was the only armored force of the Soviet brigade, whic hwas still waiting for its T-34s to arrive. The brigade had, however, a well equipped AT gun regiment.

I checked and it seems I was not entirely correct. On 1 March 1945, when the 2nd Tank regiment joned the 27th Tank Brigade it had still one T-34 and battalion of SU-76s at half strength. THe AT Regiment had been assigned to it at the same time with the 2nd Tank Regiment and was at full strength with 36 76.2 mm ZIS-3 AT guns.

Thanks for your help. Was the 27th Tank Brigade part of a larger formation such as a Tank Corps or Mechanized Corps?
