I've done a search on this site, and more widely on the internet, without success. I'm looking for any information about the Romanian use of the Tempo G1200 car during WW2. According to Tempo websites, Romania was a main user of the car (alongside Sweden).

I'm particularly after any photos and details of markings / number plates and so on.

Very grateful for any assistance,

I believe that this car Tempo G1200 was not in romanian service. I'v seen a lot of pictures with romanian cars during WWII and no Tempo.
Attached are the main types of romanian army motor vehicle used in WWII from "Third axis fourth Ally" by Max Axworthy.

Hi

Thanks for the information. This photo shows the Tempo in Romanian service:

The picture on the left shows the car in Romanian service - with very obvious Officer uniforms and caps.

The search goes on!

Hi Chris,

Could you enlarge the picture with romanian officers. I need to confirm if they are romanian or not. wink.gif

Thanks.

Sorry, I tried but the picture just became too blurry. Is there any way that I can send it to you by email?
