Hallo Gents,
snapped these today.  Outside the gates of the Hero's Cemetery, Deva.  Part of the Honour Guard.  The Colour Party.  Close up of Colour Party.  The all new Monument, replacing the old one in white Marbel that was in a bad state of repair.  Some of the Military Veterans at the ceremony.  Some Reservists for balance.  This lady at 19 years old, was a Military Nurse and served in the Crimea in World War 2!!!   Local Dignitaries and Officers of Units. Kevin in Deva  |

 Veterans waiting for the presentation of Diplomas.  During the presentation.  An example of the Diploma for WW2 veterans.  Some of the Military Dignitaries.  The start of the wreath laying ceremony.  Jandarmeria.   Political & Civil Contributers wait to bring their wreaths to the monument.  A salute is presented. Kevin in Deva. |
